What a private driver in Georgia does, and what he does not
The driver is the operational heart of the trip. He meets you at the airport with a name sign, drives a clean air-conditioned car for 8 to 10 hours a day, sequences the stops so you arrive before the crowds, waits at every stop as long as you need, and changes the plan when mountain weather turns. He handles the practical language: ordering in a restaurant, checking you in at the hotel, calling ahead to reserve a table.
What he is not is a licensed tour guide. He will tell you what you are looking at and where the best viewpoint is, but he does not deliver a historical lecture inside a cathedral or a museum. Cities covered: Tbilisi, Batumi and the Caucasus first
We have drivers in every city of Georgia, but our strongest presence, where an English-speaking driver is easiest to secure at short notice, is Tbilisi, Batumi and the Caucasus: Kazbegi, Gudauri and the Georgian Military Highway. We also cover Kutaisi, Borjomi, Bakuriani, Kakheti, Mestia and Mtskheta, about 20 km from the capital.
Distances to plan around: Tbilisi airport to the centre about 17 km; Tbilisi to Kazbegi about 155 km and around 3 hours each way; Tbilisi to Batumi about 370 km and 5.5 to 6 hours, a full travel day, so we normally place a stop in Kutaisi (about 230 km) or Borjomi (about 160 km) on the way. Airport meet and greet, day or night
Every booking includes the meet and greet on arrival and the departure transfer at Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi airports. Send your flight number when you book; the driver tracks the flight and is in the arrivals hall with a name sign when you walk out, whether that is 14:00 or 03:30. Sample itineraries with an English-speaking driver
One day: Tbilisi and Mtskheta
The old town and sulphur baths, Narikala fortress by cable car, then Mtskheta with Jvari monastery and Svetitskhoveli cathedral, about 8 to 9 hours. This is Tbilisi One Day Tour, and it works as the first day of any longer trip.
Two days: Tbilisi and Kazbegi

Four to seven days

Private driver cost in Georgia: per car, per day
The car price is for the whole car per day, fixed all year with no seasonal surcharge:

From 7 days the car is discounted by 5%, and from 14 days by 10%. Two worked examples: a couple hiring a sedan for 7 days pays 565 USD after the discount, not 700; a family of five in a minivan for 7 days pays 665 USD.
Hotels are optional and come from our approved list, and you see the whole-stay total with breakfast: six nights in a double room from 594 USD at a 4-star hotel and 1,194 USD at a 5-star hotel in low season; the hotel is chosen at confirmation by availability. A third guest in a room takes an extra bed, four people and more take two rooms, a child aged 5 or over counts as a guest, and children under 5 stay free. What the daily price includes and excludes
Included: the private air-conditioned car with the English-speaking driver for 8 to 10 hours a day; airport meet and greet and departure transfer; all transfers between cities and tours within them; fuel, tolls, parking and the driver's lodging; a SIM card with open internet for a week; child seats and pushchairs on request; a direct WhatsApp line to our Tbilisi office; and help booking restaurants and activities.
Not included: flights, meals other than hotel breakfast, insurance, entrance tickets and optional activities paid on the spot (cable cars, the Gergeti 4x4, wine tastings), personal expenses, and visa fees if any.
No prepayment: how payment and cancellation work
We do not ask for a deposit, a card guarantee or a transfer before you arrive; the booking is confirmed on WhatsApp with your name, arrival date and flight number. For driver-only bookings you pay each day at the start of that day's tour; when hotels are included, the full amount is paid on arrival. Payment is in cash, in US dollars or Georgian lari; card payment is possible only as a bank transfer to the company's official account, agreed in advance.
Cancellation is free with 48 hours' notice for driver-only bookings, and 72 hours when hotels are booked. Nothing is paid in advance, so there is nothing to refund.

Yes. The written plan is a framework, not a contract. If you want to stay longer in Kazbegi, skip a stop or move a day to avoid rain, tell the driver or message the office. An added day is charged at the same per-car rate; there is no penalty for changes.
