Georgia Winter and Snow Packages

Georgia's winter is what Gulf travellers look for: real snow two hours from Tbilisi in Gudauri, and gentle family snow in Bakuriani. The programmes on this page cover both: five days in Gudauri, a six-day family stay in Bakuriani, a week between Gudauri and Tbilisi, eight days across both resorts, the New Year programme and the advanced ski programme as far as Mestia.

The car with the Arabic-speaking driver is fitted for mountain roads, and the driver knows when the Kazbegi road closes and opens, so he arranges the day around the weather. Cable cars, sledges and snow activities are paid on the spot as you wish, and a hotel near the slopes is optional.

The snow season usually begins at the start of December and the ski lifts usually open in the second half of the month; the season runs to late March in Bakuriani and about mid-April in Gudauri, and nobody can promise snow on a given date. Booking early secures the car and hotel for Eid and New Year, with no prepayment.
