Overview
This 5 day Batumi tour is for travellers who want the Black Sea on its own, with no long transfers and no cities passed through on the way. It suits families and couples who would rather keep one hotel near the boulevard for four consecutive nights, and anyone flying straight into Batumi airport. Almost the whole city sits along a single seven-kilometre seafront line, so the programme is built on depth rather than distance: a first evening on the boulevard and at the moving Ali and Nino sculpture, a day for the old squares and the Argo cable car up Anuria mountain, a full day in the Botanical Garden on Green Cape north of the city, a family day between 6 May Park, the dolphinarium and bicycles on the promenade, and a market morning before the airport. To add the Adjaran countryside, see Batumi and Countryside 6 Day Tour; for more on the city, Batumi Travel Guide; for other programmes here, Batumi Tour Packages. An Arabic-speaking driver removes what tires people most in Batumi: seafront parking in high summer, crossing seven kilometres of boulevard after a long walking day, and explaining what is in the market before you buy it.

Trip Itinerary
اليوم 1: Day One | Arrival and a first evening on the boulevard
You are met at Batumi International Airport, about six kilometres south of the centre, and driven to the hotel. Once the heat eases we go out to the boulevard, a green strip running seven kilometres between the sea and the city. We walk through Miracle Park at its northern end, where the Alphabet Tower rises a hundred and thirty metres with the Georgian letters wrapped around its frame, then wait for the moving Ali and Nino sculpture to turn until the man passes through the woman and the two separate again. Dinner on the seafront and a short walk back.
اليوم 2: Day Two | Old Batumi, the squares and the Argo cable car
A morning in the old town: Europe Square with Medea holding the golden fleece at its centre, then Piazza Square with its Italianate facades and mosaics, and the old Batumi streets of houses with wooden balconies. We pass the Cathedral of the Mother of God and reach the old Batumi lighthouse at the edge of the port. In the afternoon the Argo cable car climbs about two and a half kilometres over the rooftops to Anuria mountain, where the whole city, the port and the mountains behind them appear in one view. Sunset from the top, then down for dinner.
اليوم 3: Day Three | The Botanical Garden on Green Cape
We drive nine kilometres north along the coast road to the Botanical Garden at Mtsvane Kontskhi, Green Cape. Founded at the start of the last century, it covers more than a hundred hectares divided into sections by region of the world: Japanese, Australian, American, Mediterranean, with paths that descend gradually until they look straight out over the sea from above the rocks. We give it at least half a day, because it is a garden to walk slowly. Afterwards we go down to the quiet Green Cape beach for the rest of the afternoon, with the driver waiting at the lower gate.
اليوم 4: Day Four | A family day: 6 May Park and bicycles
A day built for children. We start at 6 May Park with its small lake and boats, the adjoining funfair and its Ferris wheel, and a show at the Batumi dolphinarium inside the same park. After lunch we hire bicycles on the boulevard's dedicated cycle path and ride part of the promenade between the fountains and the shade, then swim from the pebble beach in front of the city. In the evening we come back for the dancing fountains at Miracle Park. A day with no long drives, everything minutes from the hotel.
اليوم 5: Day Five | The central market, a free morning, then departure
Check out and leave the luggage in the car. The morning starts at Batumi's covered central market, with spices, Adjaran cheese, honey, churchkhela and bags of tea grown in this very region, and the driver explains whatever you ask about before you buy. Anyone with time left spends it at the sea or in one last shop near the hotel. Lunch according to your flight, then the short transfer to Batumi International Airport, or an overland return to Tbilisi arranged for those flying from there.
