The direct flight from Kuwait International to Tbilisi takes about three hours, with summer flights to Batumi on some days, and Georgia is one hour ahead of Kuwait. The best dates for Kuwaiti holidays
When Kuwait touches 47 to 50 degrees in July and August, Tbilisi is at about 31 by day, Batumi 27 to 28, Kazbegi 18 to 22. Where to stay: Tbilisi as a base, then a week in Batumi or Bakuriani
We do not name hotels; the spread of nights makes the trip. For Kuwaiti families in summer that means three or four nights in Tbilisi, a full week in one place, and one or two nights back in Tbilisi for shopping: Batumi on the Black Sea, described in Batumi Travel Guide 2026: Where to Stay, Beaches and Costs, or Bakuriani and Borjomi for cool August air at about 1,700 m. Tbilisi to Batumi is about 370 km, 5.5 to 6 hours with a stop in Kutaisi; to Borjomi about 160 km, 2.5 hours.
