This 10 day Georgia tour is built on one idea: few hotel bases and days that are not filled to the last hour. Only four hotels across the whole trip — Tbilisi, Stepantsminda, Borjomi and Batumi — so you unpack four times instead of nine, and two full days carry no fixed programme at all: one in Tbilisi and one on the Batumi seafront. The line is logical and never doubles back: the capital, then the Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi at the foot of Mount Kazbek, then down to Borjomi and Bakuriani, then the coast. Trip Itinerary

  1. اليوم 1: Day One | Arrival in Tbilisi and a gentle start

    We meet you at Tbilisi International Airport and transfer to the hotel, about 17 kilometres. The first day is deliberately light: rest, then an evening walk down to Rike Park and the Bridge of Peace, and a short loop through Meidan and Kote Abkhazi street. An early dinner, and then ten minutes with your driver going over the ten-day map and the departure times. If you land around midday you can add the cable car up to Narikala the same evening rather than saving it for tomorrow.

  2. اليوم 2: Day Two | A full day in old Tbilisi

    One day that gathers the heart of the city: Narikala fortress and the Mother of Georgia statue on Sololaki hill, then down into Abanotubani with its domed sulphur baths and the Leghvtakhevi waterfall. Next Sioni church and the old bazaar at Meidan, then the vast Sameba Cathedral on the Avlabari bank. The afternoon takes in Rustaveli Avenue, Freedom Square and the opera house from outside, then the funicular up Mtatsminda at sunset. The rhythm stays easy because everything today is inside the city, with no long transfers.

  3. اليوم 3: Day Three | An open day in Tbilisi

    The first of the deliberate rest days. No early start and no schedule: the day begins when you wake up. The suggestions are ready and the car is at your disposal — Turtle Lake and Vake Park for the children, the Chronicle of Georgia and its bronze pillars above the Tbilisi Sea, the Dry Bridge flea market for antiques, a shopping day in the big malls, or simply sleeping until noon and a long lunch. The point is to start tomorrow's mountain drive rested rather than worn out.

  4. اليوم 4: Day Four | The Georgian Military Highway to Stepantsminda

    The finest driving day in Georgia. We head north on the Military Highway: a first stop at Ananuri fortress above the turquoise Zhinvali reservoir after about 70 kilometres, then a steady climb to Gudauri at 2,200 metres and the circular Friendship Monument with its mosaic panels above a deep valley. Beyond the Jvari Pass at 2,379 metres we drop down to Stepantsminda. The distance is only 155 kilometres but with stops it fills the day. Two nights here, facing Mount Kazbek.

  5. اليوم 5: Day Five | Gergeti and the Sno valley

    In the morning a local 4x4 takes us up the steep track to Gergeti Trinity Church at 2,170 metres, where a lone stone church stands with the peak of Kazbek behind it when the cloud lifts — the mountain comes and goes with the weather and nobody can promise a clear view. After lunch we drive into the quiet Sno valley with its carved stone heads, and those who want can continue to the mouth of the Juta valley. The evening stays in the village: cold air, a short walk, an early dinner.

  6. اليوم 6: Day Six | Down to Borjomi through Mtskheta

    A transfer day designed around two stops rather than around hours behind the wheel. We come down the Military Highway and pause in the old capital, Mtskheta: Jvari Monastery on the hill above the meeting of the Aragvi and the Mtkvari, then Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and lunch by the river. From there we turn west to Borjomi, about 320 kilometres for the day. In the evening we walk into the Central Park and drink from the famous warm mineral spring — an odd taste at first that everyone gets used to.

  7. اليوم 7: Day Seven | Borjomi park and up to Bakuriani

    The morning is spent inside Borjomi Central Park: the spring itself, then the short cable car up to the plateau above the valley and an easy pine-forest walking trail that works well with children. After lunch we climb the thirty kilometres to Bakuriani at 1,700 metres, passing the famous Kukushka narrow-gauge line and its old steel bridge near Tsagveri. At the resort we take a chairlift up the Didveli or Kokhta slopes, depending on the season, then come back down to Borjomi for the night.

  8. اليوم 8: Day Eight | From Borjomi to the Black Sea coast

    We leave Borjomi westward through Khashuri and Zestaponi and over the Rikoti pass; Batumi is about 250 kilometres away, roughly four hours with a lunch stop and a break in the hills. We reach the city in the afternoon and rest before a first evening on the seven-kilometre boulevard: the Alphabet Tower, the moving Ali and Nino statue that meets and parts every few minutes, Europe Square and the Medea column, then dinner by the water.

  9. اليوم 9: Day Nine | An open day on the Batumi seafront

    The second rest day, and it is entirely yours. The pebble beach in front of the hotel in the morning, or the ferris wheel and the dolphinarium for the children, or the Argo cable car up Anuria hill to see the city and the port from above, or the botanical garden on the Green Cape if you want one short outing. The car and driver are with you whenever you need them rather than on a timetable. Evenings usually end around Piazza square, its back streets and restaurants, and it is the best time to buy gifts. Nothing on this day needs to be booked in advance.

  10. اليوم 10: Day Ten | Departure

    Shaped by your flight: a last morning on the boulevard with coffee facing the sea, then the transfer to Batumi airport, only six kilometres to the south. If you fly from Kutaisi we leave early, since it is about 140 kilometres and two hours; if you return from Tbilisi we plan a full overland day with a stop on the way. Before we say goodbye we check together that nothing has been left in the hotel or in the car.
