Trip Itinerary

1. Day 1: The day | The squares, the boulevard and the sea, then Argo at sunset

   Ten in the morning, departure from your hotel. We start at Europe Square with the golden Medea statue at its centre and its European facades, and walk five minutes to the Piazza with its mosaics and towers for photos. Then the boulevard: the car drops you at the glass Alphabet Tower and you stroll to the moving Ali and Nino statue that meets and parts every ten minutes, and on to the Black Sea views at the end of the promenade. Younger travellers who wish take their time over the water activities: the sightseeing ship, the speedboat, parasailing over the sea or the jet ski, all at the boulevard marina and booked on the spot. A light lunch near the sea, then an hour or two of rest at the hotel in the heat of the day. In the late afternoon we ride the Argo cable car to the top of Anuria, where the whole city and the sea lie beneath you at sunset, and stay until Batumi lights up. Dinner on the street of Arabic and Turkish restaurants where everyone picks what they like, then back to the hotel to rest.
