Trip Itinerary

1. Day 1: The day | The Mtirala forest, then the botanical garden and the fish market

   Nine in the morning, departure from your hotel northwards and then inland through the village of Chakvistavi; after half an hour we enter the Mtirala park. We walk the shaded forest trail about an hour there and back to the suspension bridge over the river, the small waterfall and its cold pool, and anyone who wishes rests at the park's wooden café. Back to the coast, we reach the botanical garden on the Green Cape before noon: paved paths among cedars, bamboo and magnolias, terraces looking down over the Black Sea, and about an hour and a half of easy walking, or a ride in the small electric cart for those who prefer. Lunch at the fish market by the sea: you choose the fresh fish from the tables and it is cooked for you at once in the restaurant next door with bread and salad. After lunch the 6 May park in the city centre: its lake and little boats, the zoo and the rides next to it, an easy time for children. Back to the hotel around five, and the evening free on the boulevard.
