Trip Itinerary

1. Day 1: The day | Petra fortress, then Shekvetili, Ureki and the evening rides

   Ten in the morning, departure from your hotel north along the coast road. After twenty minutes, Petra fortress at Tsikhisdziri: we climb to its walls on the rock and see the Black Sea from above and the green terraces around it, about forty minutes. We continue north through Kobuleti and its long promenade among the pines, reaching Shekvetili near noon: the great dendrological park with its giant trees brought whole by sea, its paths, lakes and birds, about an hour and a half of easy walking, then the neighbouring miniature park where you see Georgia's churches, castles and bridges small in one square, a favourite with children. Lunch at a seaside restaurant. After lunch, Ureki beach with its black magnetic sand: those who wish swim or sit on the sand, others have coffee in the shade. At sunset the Tsitsinatela amusement park opens its doors in its summer season, and you spend two hours among the rides and lights. Back to Batumi at night, reaching the hotel around ten. Outside summer the rides give way to a return at sunset and dinner in Batumi.
