What do Gulf travellers ask about Georgia before they book? Rather than guess, we read every message that reached the Hawa Georgia Travel WhatsApp in September and October 2026: 274 messages from 32 conversations, 148 in Arabic and 126 in English from visitors who usually write in it. We removed names and numbers, sorted each message by what it asked, and answer the most frequent questions here. This is not a large market study; it is an honest picture of what people actually think about when they consider Georgia.
The figures below are the number of messages that mentioned a topic out of 274; one message may touch two topics.
The most asked: price, before anything else
59 messages asked about cost directly: the whole programme, the car with driver per day, how much comes off if the airport pickup is dropped on a given day, and whether the price changes with two children aged five and ten. The question is rarely a bare "how much"; it is always "how much for my family, on my dates, in this order".
So we always answer the same way: the car-with-driver price is for the whole car, never per head, with fuel and road costs included. A seven-day programme with an Arabic-speaking driver in a family minivan starts from 665 USD for the whole car, and one day in Tbilisi in a sedan is 85 USD. Children under 5 are not counted in the hotel; from that age a child needs an extra bed or a second room, and that is what moves the number, nothing else. The details are in How Much Does a Family Trip to Georgia Cost? 2026 Prices and How Much Does a Driver in Georgia Cost? 2026 Prices.
Programme and length: how many days, in what order
53 messages were about the programme: "I have six days, what can I see?", "are four days enough for Tbilisi and Kazbegi?", "how many hours from Bakuriani to Batumi?". That last question is the key to a good programme: whoever knows the distances arranges the cities with no backtracking, so the trip runs from the capital to the north, then the east, then the western road to the sea. Every distance and time is in Distances and Driving Times Between Georgian Cities, and two ready programmes follow that order: Georgia 7-Day Family Tour – Tbilisi, Borjomi and Batumi for a family week, and Georgia 10-Day Grand Tour – Mountains and Sea for ten days and all of Georgia.
Driver and car: "I have booked the hotels, I just need a car with a driver"
40 messages asked about the driver and car alone. Many arrive having booked their own accommodation and want an Arabic-speaking driver for the pickup, the transfers and the tours only, which we welcome. Their practical questions: which car takes five people with five bags (a Vito van, not the small minivan), does the driver really speak Arabic, and does he stay with us all day. The answers are in Arabic-Speaking Driver in Georgia: Price per Car, No Deposit, and the company's cars with their photos are on the cars page.
Accommodation: wide apartments or a hotel, and is Booking real?
38 messages were about accommodation, with two recurring questions. First: "I want a wide apartment or a suite, size matters more to me than luxury", a request from families of four or five who want a living room and a kitchen. Second, and more important: "I found many options on Booking and I am not sure they are all real, can I send them to you to check?". Yes, send them. That is part of our work: we know the hotels and apartments in every city and tell you plainly what suits a Gulf family and what does not.
Our way with accommodation: hotels we show you through Booking links, so you book them or we book them for you; serviced apartments, chalets and villas we show with their photos on our own pages. For those planning themselves, Best Hotels in Tbilisi for Gulf Families explains which Tbilisi district suits a family.
Weather and seasons: "we have not fixed the dates yet because of the weather"
28 messages tied the decision to the weather: when the snow starts, whether Tbilisi is hot in summer, whether the sea in Batumi and the snow in Gudauri fit in one trip. The short answer: Georgia has four real seasons, and the date decides the programme, not the other way round. The month-by-month table is in Georgia Weather Month by Month: Tbilisi, Batumi and Mountain Temperatures, and What to Pack, and winter travellers read Gudauri or Bakuriani? Which Georgia Ski Resort Is Better before choosing a resort.
Airport and pickup, Kazbegi, Batumi
21 messages were about the airport: is the pickup included, how far to the hotel, what if the flight is late. 21 were about Kazbegi and the Caucasus road, mostly "is one day enough?" (yes, with four stops on the way) and some thank-you notes after the trip. 18 were about Batumi: the sea, the boulevard and the distance from Tbilisi. The arrival guide is Tbilisi Airport Arrival Guide: SIM, Exchange and Your Driver, Kazbegi is in Kazbegi and the Caucasus: A Day Trip Guide from Tbilisi, and Batumi in Batumi Travel Guide 2026: Where to Stay, Beaches and Costs.
Asked less than we expected
Visas came up in only two messages, because Gulf nationals know they enter Georgia without one; those who ask hold other passports, and their answer is in Do You Need a Visa for Georgia? Entry Guide for Gulf and Arab Travellers. Halal food came up once, because everyone knows Tbilisi and Batumi are full of Turkish and Arab restaurants. Payment came up in four messages, and all were reassured by the rule: no prepayment, you pay on arrival in Georgia.
Three messages that changed how we work
The first: "I don't want to speak with an AI, let a human speak with me". So our digital assistant says plainly that it is a digital assistant, and hands the conversation to the team the moment someone asks or hesitates. The second: "whatever options you have, just keep sending them", which taught us to send two or three options per city at the same price, not a long list that confuses. The third: "we really enjoyed the Kazbegi trip, a full day with all the stops", which reminds us why we love this work.
How to use this before you message us
Put five things in your first message: arrival and departure dates, the number of adults and the children's ages, whether you have booked accommodation or want it from us, what matters most to you (snow, sea, mountains, shopping), and the city you land in. With those five we send a complete priced offer in the first reply, without ten messages back and forth. You can also start yourself from the price calculator on the site or from Georgia Family Tour Packages.
Frequently asked questions
Do these figures represent all Gulf tourists?
No. They are one company's messages over two months of one season, and we say so plainly. But they are real from start to finish, and we added no number to them.
Why is almost half in English?
Because many residents of the Gulf write in English, and some Gulf nationals prefer it in writing. That is why the site is bilingual and our drivers speak Arabic and English.
Do you really check the hotels I send you?
Yes. We know the cities and their hotels, and we tell you plainly if the location is far or the room smaller than it looks in the photos.
Will I pay anything before arriving?
No. There is no prepayment, you pay on arrival in Georgia; cancellation is free up to 48 hours before for driver programmes and 72 hours when hotels are included.
Book your trip on WhatsApp
Message us on +995 550 000 663 with the five things above and we reply with a complete offer in the first message. There is no prepayment, you pay on arrival in Georgia.
